I just completed Pokemon Scarlet 😭❤️
Although the Canon ending would take place within Violet as in Reestalverse
#and the uuh version exclusive stuff. idk how to deal with that yet i might have to discuss this with icy or someone else i know but#yes. both academies might exist. but the view of them depends on who was enrolled in which.#basically it's like if a student from Naranja academy went to Mesagoza they will only see students of their academy there.#as well as the academy itself. on the other hand.. they can't see anyone who enrolled into Uva academy or the academy that#said students go to. so like Uva academy students can't see Naranja academy students when they're in Mesagoza. so like.#for example (again): Arven. as a student in Uva academy RV-wise. and Nemona. as a student in Naranja academy RV-wise. can't see each other-#-unless they're outside of Mesagoza.#also i haven't specifically decided how Mrs Torres would die lmao. either collapsing from sudden head trauma effect or getting#attacked while doing so?? but then her 'ace' Pokemon goes up to the rest of the group who were looking for her after noticing that she was#missing when they went to the research stations due to her collapsing as mentioned earlier due to head trauma from that boulder#(somehow it only came into effect at the endgame thing but it still occasionally occured before that i guess and it only lasted for longer#each time.) anyway#pokemon#reestal wanted to talk#reestalverse#pokemon scarlet#pokemon scarlet and violet#not tagging anyone likewise#also don't mind the Pinterest screenshot

May I request a crossover of sorts? Arven and Nemona meeting a strange new student!Reader. The reader is quiet, always has their head down, and is never seen with any pokemon, despite having pokeballs on their belt. One day they're either provoked into a battle or just seen with their pokemon, which turn out to be the most horrifying pokemon pretty much anyone has ever seen. Their team consists of Freakachu, Missingno, Purin, and Disabled, which are loyal and friendly toward the Reader.
I LOVE this idea to the moon and back-
.............
"I'm telling you...[y/n] has some super cool Pokémon!! Maybe they're just shy about showing them off!"
"Or maybe they're not in the mood for battling, unlike you."
"Still, I really wanna see what their team looks like!"
"...so you can beat them up?" Arven just stared at Nemona with a deadpanned expression, unable to understand why she wanted to fight you so badly.
Recently the pair, alongside Penny, befriended you--a new student who transferred from Kanto and into the Naranja/Uva Academy.
But all three of them noticed some rather peculiar things about you..
For one, you're always so quiet--even moreso than Penny--and you had your head down during the lectures, never speaking unless called on. Some professors were led to believe you were dozing off. Yet you always got good marks on your tests, so it's clear you've been paying close attention.
Outside of school, you declined Nemona's invitations to battle whenever you saw her...which was pretty much every single day. And it wasn't just her. You didn't engage in Pokémon battles with anyone. Not even during battle studies class.
Some younger students have called you "chicken" when you refused to fight their Teddiursa or Chewtile, while older folks would say that you have "the potential" to be a great trainer...but you were never bothered by their remarks. You just carried on with your day.
But the strangest thing is that nobody in Paldea has seen your Pokémon team, despite your friends noticing the four pokeballs attached to your belt at all times. Not even during picnics did you bring them out to play or chat.
Arven didn't let it bother him too much, believing you shouldn't be pressured into revealing them if you weren't prepared to; although he was curious about what was holding you back. He wasn't an expert trainer, but he let his team out to get fresh air every once in a while.
Penny can understand you wanting to hide in your shell for a little while longer. You are a recent transfer student, after all. It took her ages to even admit that she has an Eeveelution team, so she sympathizes with you in that regard.
As for Nemona? She was gonna goad you into a battle even if it killed her. You just needed a little confidence boost!
When she tried calling you, Arven suddenly snatched her rotom phone, being extremely annoyed that she was trying to nose her way into your life without permission, and the pair began arguing.
Yet neither of them have realized they've stumbled upon the secluded spot where you did let your team roam free.
But when they noticed you approaching, Arven fell silent and ducked down behind some bushes, taking Nemona along with him despite her protests. "What are you doing?!" She whisper-yelled, seeing you setting up a picnic table. "It's [y/n]!"
"I-I know, just be quiet!" He whisper-yelled right back. "All we're gonna do is scare them."
"..why are you acting like they're some timid Starly?? That's our friend!"
"Yeah? Well maybe they won't be anymore if we jump out at them! Let's just...see what they're up to before we do anything. Maybe they're gonna bring out their Pokémon." He pointed as he saw you unclip the pokeballs from your belt.
Although irritated she couldn't greet you, Nemona kept quiet and stayed hidden with Arven, excited at that prospect. Both of them watched as you tossed the pokeballs high into the air, opening one by one to reveal....
Creatures that look like they crawled out of a horror movie or broken video game.
Neither of them could believe what they were seeing:
There was a white-furred Pikachu with bandages plastered all over its body, yet it still looked very much wounded as it was missing an arm and ear. One of its legs was stripped of any fur or muscle, exposing its bones. But that didn't seem to limit its mobility as it ran happily around the table.
Then their eyes gazed upon a Jigglypuff and Wigglytuff, both with greyed fur and red stains underneath their eyes. The Wigglytuff had a bandage wrapped around her mouth, along with a stitched ear, but she seemed content sitting in the grass, sharing berries with the Jigglypuff--who seemed to sport a thousand-yard stare.
The final Pokémon was something...quite incomprehensible. Arven and Nemona didn't know if they were hallucinating at first.
But it was just...a blob of glitches shaped like a backwards L. And it seemed to be spawning Pokémon eggs all around the picnic table. Though you somehow were able to talk to it, and they disappeared before it took the shape of an Aerodactyl's skeleton. It sat patiently as you used the Mareep sponge to scrub soap onto their skull, before washing it off with the handheld sprinkler.
After shaking the water off, it let out a distorted cry that rattled the nerves of the duo.
They tried taking a scan of that Pokémon to learn more about it, but their pokedexes showed a bugged entry. Though they were able to make out several things: its name was Missingno, its number was 000, and its type was apparently "Bird/Normal".
"Wha...bird?? Isn't that just the flying type?" Arven furrowed his eyebrows in confusion, staring at his phone. "That thing is no freaking bird, I can tell you that. What kind of name is "Missingno" anyway??"
"Dunno, but we can always ask [y/n]!" Nemona suggested with a hopeful smile.
"How do you suppose we show our faces without looking like stalkers-?"
"Pikaaaa..."
Tensing, they both looked down to suddenly see the zombified Pikachu staring up at them, tilting its head. Then it grinned from ear to ear, revealing rows of sharp teeth and red fleshy gums--a far cry from the cute little smiles they're used to seeing on normal Pikachus.
One of them would've freaked out for sure....had you not whistled.
"Hey Freakachu. Come back, please...sorry, guys." You muttered apologetically, looking up at your friends. "I promise he doesn't bite."
Although you were a tad bit irritated that you caught them spying on you, you knew you couldn't keep this a secret from them forever. This could revelation could either make or break your friendship with them...but you had to take that chance eventually.
Hearing your voice, Nemona jumped up and waved excitedly. "Hola, [y/n]!! We were just doing some field studies so it's fancy seeing you here!" She stepped out of the bushes as Arven stumbled after her. "How are your Pokémon? They..seem to be in rough shape."
"I know they don't look it, but...they're happy." You noticed the grey Jigglypuff waddling beside you, tugging on your pant leg. "Oh hey, Purin..need something?"
Shaking her head, she simply hugged your leg, and you smiled as you reached down to pet her ears. She genuinely felt safe with you, as her eyes closed and a smile formed on her own face.
"Oooooo, so that Jigglypuff's name is Purin? That's cute!" Nemona cooed, whereas Arven remained immensely concerned with their conditions.
"That's cool..I guess. But why are you calling him "Freakachu"?" He gestured to the white Pikachu. "That's not really a nice name, if you ask me.."
"It's the only one he responds to, so..he doesn't mind it at all." You shrugged.
"..you sure they're all okay, [y/n]? 'cause they look like-"
"Death?"
"Wha--n-no!! I wasn't gonna say that-!"
"It's okay. I get that a lot. The thing is..they weren't always like this." You explained calmly. "They were all hurt. Disabled and Purin were abandoned by their trainers and lost their Sing...and Freakachu was dying of frostbite on Mt. Silver. I tried healing their wounds the best I could..or at least the physical ones. But they trusted me to help them, and...they've become my best friends.."
"Awh, that's muy bueno!!" Nemona beamed, clapping her hands together. "Now I kinda feel bad I was begging you to battle me..." She chuckled awkwardly. "They probably don't wanna fight."
"They know some good moves, but I was worried about how you guys would rea-"
"AH!! I-Is that a real ghost?!!"
Blinking in confusion, you looked over your shoulder to see Missingno right there, having assumed its Ghost form. You just smiled and shook your head. "No, it's just Missingno being able to turn into several forms. I don't know much about this one's history, but...old Kantonian tales claim it's a collection of lost souls that can grant you infinite items if you pay your respects to it."
"..o-oh, so it's like..a Spiritomb-" Arven concluded, only to get a light elbow in the gut by Nemona, which made him grunt in pain.
"Y'know you're being quite rude, chico." She huffed. "Screaming at our friend's Pokémon is no muy bueno."
".....sorry."
"It's fine. I know looks can be deceiving but..these Pokémon follow my every command and are very loyal. They don't hurt people anymore, so there's no need to worry."
"Anymore? That's comforting.." Arven grumbled under his breath, only to tense as Nemona glared at him. "..b-but it's great that you've trained them!" His voice went up an octave. "Do they like sandwiches?? I brought some herba mystica! A pinch of it should help with their injuries no problem!!!"
Both of you watched in amusement as he rushed over to the table to help set up the condiments, before you sighed and followed him there. Nemona joined you, a skip in her step as she was eager to learn more about your Pokémon.
Purin, Disabled, Freakachu, and Missingno all gathered there as well, lying in wait.
This was sure to be an interesting picnic.

why are there specifically 3 starter pokémon in each region? is it because they've been specially bred in parallel?
at this point? effectively yes. all starter pokemon are long-since domesticated pokemon bred for docility and ease of training. although they were not originally bred to act as first partners to beginning trainers, some researchers began promoting them as such because they give trainers a good way to ease into pokemon training on a fairly standardized beginning. in addition to being relatively easy to train for pokemon of their strength, they all have a nice balance of typing.
that being said, most people don't actually start out with one of these pokemon. they're fairly rare, and you can usually only get one from a professor, which can be hard to arrange depending on where you live in a region. the vast majority of trainers catch a wild pokemon in their area or purchase one from a breeder. they're more common in paldea, because naranja-uva academy offers these pokemon to all of its students if they want one, but in other regions it's pretty rare to see someone actually raising one.

By the looks of it, unlike Naranja/Uva Academy, Blueberry Academy is age restricted since we only see kids as students there. Since Kieran is in class 1-4 and Carmine is in 3-2, it's safe to assume that Carmine is only two years older than him despite being like a foot taller.
Logically Carmine got in first, and then Kieran two years later. So Kieran would've been on his own until then. I imagine he still had no friends during this time; I mentioned it before, but Japanese rural villages like Mossui have a population issue.
In the Higurashi series, which takes place in the 80s, there's less than a dozen kids between elementary and middle school age in Hinamizawa, and they all share a single classroom and teacher. In timelines where everyone gets to live (lol), the school eventually shuts down entirely when all the kids age out and no one replaces them. It also appears that anyone who wants to continue their education has to move out of the village entirely.
I don't think I've seen a teenage NPC in Mossui? When Pecharunt brainwashes everyone in town and brings them to Loyalty Plaza with it, besides Carmine, they're all middle-aged or elderly. The time Kieran was alone was probably when he frequently snuck off to Ogerpon's cave.
Of course, this also means Carmine never had friends in Mossui either. Thankfully she at least has Amarys at school. Until then though, they literally had no one else to hang out with, and they still only hang out with each other when they're home because the situation hasn't changed.
#pokemon#pokemon sv#also carmine and kieran being in different classes#means that they still aren't always together at bba as well#outside of class yeah but still#kieran being anxious and awkward makes him unable to make friends#but that's more on him than carmine#thankfully he starts making friends with his classmates#after the epilogue#also also#i see people saying carmine's the obvious 'golden child'#because she has a phone and kieran doesn't#their grandparents probably can't afford a second phone#how much money does artisanal handcrafted masks make#especially when the festival sells cheap plastic ones

Pokemon Theory: Penny and Koraidon/Miraidon
Something I've always wondered about Penny and Koraidon/Miraidon:
youtube
youtube
(I do NOT own these videos, I found this on YouTube for the sake of this post.)
Why does Koraidon/Miraidon like Penny so much?
In the Starfall storyline, there are moments when Koraidon/Miraidon comes out of their pokeball to lick/nuzzle against Penny, and it doesn't really do that with the other rivals/friends in the treasure hunt storylines.
Here's my theory why that is: Koraidon/Miraidon sees Penny as a kindred spirit.
Think about it:
Penny was a victim a bullying and it got so bad that she formed Team Star with other students who were being bullied in an attempted to teach the bullies a lesson.
Koraidon/Miraidon, at the final quest in the main storyline, is afraid of the second Koraidon/Miraidon, which is shown to be very aggressive and mean towards our Koraidon/Miraidon, basically being a bully to our Pokémon.
The bullying situation at Naranja/Uva Academy got so bad that students were afraid to attend classes in fear of the bullies, and I imagine Penny being one of the people being afraid to go to class due this.
Our Koraidon/Miraidon was pretty much driven away by the aggressive Koraidon/Miraidon in a territorial fight.
So, when Koraidon/Miraidon first meets Penny, it probably saw a bit of itself within her, a being that had been bullied. pushed around and driven away by bullies. So, when it nuzzles/licks Penny, it's probably saying that it knows how she feels and it understands her. But naturally, we can't understand what they're saying, so it settles for licking/nuzzling.
To recap, the reason Koraidon/Miraidon likes Penny so much is because they can understand what she's been through and can relate to her.

Lacey introduces herself as a second-year student, and Crispin is confirmed by a line of (extremely easy-to-miss, thank you Game Freak, lol) NPC dialogue to be a first-year.
Uva/Naranja's classrooms follow a number-letter naming scheme, 1-A, 1-D, 2-G, while Blueberry's are number-number, 1-4 and 3-2, showing the schools to use a different organizing system. Uva/Naranja's homerooms are also explictly organized by each student's track, hence why Nemona is in the same homeroom as Juliana/Florian despite having attended the academy longer.
Because of these facts, I believe it is meant to be implied that Blueberry Academy's students are traditionally grouped by school year the way most Japanese schools are (while Unova is based on the United States of America, Game Freak is, of course, a Japanese company, so I don't think it's too much of a leap to suggest that they're following a system that would be most familiar to their writers and main audience, especially considering Blueberry's uniforms seem to be based on Japanese high school uniforms). The year of each class is signified by the first number in their designation: 1-4 would presumably be a first year class, 3-2 would presumably be a third year class.
In Carmine and Crispin's League Club Room conversation, it's revealed that Crispin and Kieran are in the same class. Kieran's classroom is, sure enough, 1-4- therefore, I believe he is meant to be a first-year student.
Likewise, NPC dialogue in Class 3-2 reveals Carmine and Amarys are both in that class- therefore, I believe the two of them are meant to be third-year students.
MY PROPOSAL
First Years: Crispin (confirmed) and Kieran (presumed)
Second Years: Lacey (confirmed)
Third Years: Carmine and Amarys (both presumed)
I literally am not sure because the information is spread between NPC dialogue that uses confusing wording (ThAnKs Game Freak) and a League Club Room conversation and I already spent way too much time trying to figure out where the hell it was confirmed that Crispin was a first-year and if I'm being honest I kind of don't care enough about him to confirm this (which is not to speak to his writing or character! Really! I just am focused more on other characters) so I'm just going to say "on his third attempt at Second-Year": Drayton (lol)
#cinnamontalks#pokemon scarlet and violet#pokemon sv#kieran#crispin#amarys#drayton#lacey#carmine#pokemon dlc#pokemon indigo disk#also considering there's no middle-aged or young child models among the Student NPCs at Blueberry#I think Blueberry also follows the traditional Japanese high school age ranges#meaning you can figure out a rough estimate of everyone's age range

'Sup; name's Indigo! I'm 17, I'm a They, and I'm also a student at Naranja-Uva! Originally I'm from Unova, though! And I lived in Galar for like a year before moving to Paldea. Been in Paldea for about a year now?
I had a rotomblr for a while, but I mostly just lurked. Figured I might give socializing a try!
I'm like. One of the champions? But it's literally no big deal I don't even like to battle unless it's with friends.
I really like Pokémon Biology; I wanna become a Pokémon Biologist someday. I have three close friends; I won't namedrop them because that's rude to do without permission, but you're probably gonna hear about 'em a lot; we call ourselves the ✨️ Sandwich Squad! ✨️ (ok, only two of us call it that, but shhhhhh)
I got a full team team of Pokémon, and they are:
Luna - (Unovan) Zoroark; the one in my picture. She moved to Paldea with me!
Yuki - (hisuian) Zoroark; don't ask how I got her it's complicated. Also moved to Paldea with me!
Ember - Skelidirge; got him as a Fuecoco when I enrolled in the academy
Loaf - Daschbun; We met before I beat my first gym badge as a fidough
Doc - Hypno; he constantly tries to hypnotize me, but the insomnia's just too strong lol
Magnolia - Ampharos; just happy to be a part of something like all the time.
I also got this robot Cyclizar named Miraidon? Doesn't go by any nicknames officially but I call them Salami Monster sometimes as a joke. They're super smart though!
Also I have exactly one (1) weird talent and that's that I can talk to Zoruas/Zoroarks in their language. Only them though; I'm still working on learning how to talk to other Pokemon.
Anyway I'm probably just gonna talk about school, and pokemon like everyone else. Just boring shit. Maybe make a meme or two, we'll see how it goes!
//ooc under cut
Everything's on; M!A is on but lightweight
No NSFW
ic hate is fine
This character's lore is connected to @profchamomile and by extension @porygon-supremacy and @anomaly-sanctum (but you won't see interactions with the latter two for a while). I run all of those blogs.
I run @paradox-destroyer as well but the lore for that is separate (they do share a gliscord server together though)
Canon's a combination of games, anime and whatever else. As far as the SV story goes, it's post main story and pre expansions. Also the ruinous treasures haven't been unlocked yet.
This blog is primarily low stakes. Might get up to drama stakes down the line but at this moment those plots will be between my own characters only (with other characters being portrayed via fics. If anyone WANTS plot involvement feel free to ask me!

Someone get this poor frog boy transferred to Naranja / Uva and away from the overly competitive nature of Blueberry Academy please-
>HC "'"Elaboration'"" and minor spoilers (for Kieran's Indigo Disk Team, mostly, but some plot points) below;
*And for Christ's sake give him his furret back GameFreak!!
*Unrelated, but does anyone else find Kieran's team going from Poliwrath -> Politoed to be adorable? Like, First big team has Poliwrath - a not quite full frog - and Second definitive team has full froggy Politoad?? Love that Kieran is not only designed frog-like, but gets emphasized with them, A+ character design choices, very *chef's kiss* 🤌🤌
*Anyway so...
• "<player> has everything I've ever wanted!...She’s/He’s got strong Pokémon! She/He can go anywhere she/he wants, and she/he can be friends with anyone!...I loved Ogerpon since forever ago! But even Ogerpon chose her/him over me!...Even YOU, Sis! You were being all nasty toward her/him at first, but then boom! You were like best friends in no time
...The kid obviously has insecurity issues strengthened by an abrasive relationship with his sister, minimal positive outlets to let himself flourish in a healthier way, and an inferiority complex he falsely believes strength will compensate for,, like, a school (Blueberry) whose main (whole? tbh) shtick is to make their trainers good at battling and centers the majority of its social AND curricular (that the player as an exchange student can observe, anyway) interactions around competitive Pokémon battles is NOT helping to do anything but strengthen any unhealthy thoughts and feelings about such concepts he has
•Note: when confronted with the reality that he's not as strong as he *perceives* he should be / earned the right to be (i.e. player beats him despite him being the "top" trainer at Blueberry), the cognitive dissonance it creates sends him into a panic attack....and the Blueberry kids just. scoff?? Immediately throw out their favor?? Very healthy mindsets and social hierarchy at Blueberry Academy, perfectly conducive to friendly and healthy competition, clearly (/sarcasm)
•Compare it to the variety of tracks of Naranja / Uva (2 of which - STEM and Humanities - have nothing to do with battling) and the Treasure Hunt, which encourages *independent* study into a variety of topics: i.e., allowing one to explore and experience a variety of things of personal interest in order to learn about one's self at one's own pace, bound by nothing but their own personalized limits...can you imagine how much that atmosphere would improve and expand Kieran's mental framework and ideas?? He can get everything he his desire "to be like [player] so, so badly" emphasized in his quote above - Strong Pokemon, going anywhere [he] wants, being friends with anyone (Carmine included)...and probably whatever attracted Ogerpon, for that matter - by being like the player and going to the Academy that the game emphasizes as being what gave the player opportunity and experience to have BECOME what Kieran admires / envies.
•Also, him transfering would give him some freedom / independence from Carmine - and nothing against her (...much), but I genuinely think Kieran would benefit a lot in an environment where he didn't have (to be forced) to rely on and compare himself to his sister's ideals and prowess...which Kieran very much mimics and absorbs when "stronger"...not a coincidence - they're seem pretty co-dependent in the Teal Mask at times, if not have a very neglect / enable type feedback aspect to their relationship. BUT that's a story for another post never
*Sprigatito would be Kieran's starter choice (or more like it would choose him, tbh) - and not just because it makes sense in my cannon (i.e. Florian w/ Quaxly, Juliana w/ Fuecoco) lol; sprigatitio is legitimately perfect for him:
•It desires attention and companionship, to the point it's first description was how it's, "capricious and attention-seeking, and it tends to sulk if ignored by people" and the trait continues all the way throughout it's evolution (/i.e. growth "phases"), with Meowscarada being described as, "sensitive and prone to jealousy. It can often be very attached to its Trainer, and it will become upset if its Trainer gives attention to other Pokémon". Sounds like Kieran towards both the player and Ogerpon, lol (Kieran: . Somewhat unrelated, but Florgato's being the edgy teenager (as Carmine referred to Kieran's "mood swings") phase of Sprigatito's line involved it's *mood* effecting its "edge" / "hardness" ...of it's fur, but still - Kierans a "moody teen", right? Anyway, imagine Kieran with a Pokémon that would be as obsessed with him as he was with Ogerpon, lol (/jk)
•It's a grass type, which tend to suit Kieran, and he seems to have an affinity for (Ogerpon, Dipplin line, Shiftry, etc.). It developing a dark type as it evolves reflects Kieran's arc - it's final evolution is also both MASKED (reflecting Ogerpan hyperfixation and Kieran's family's history), and Jester / Mardi Gras themed, which goes along with the festival theme Kieran exhibited during the Teal Mask DLC ( like with his Dipplin). Both Kieran and Meowscarada have those cute droopy eyes too, which is a fun design element to connect the too, if nothing else, lol
•Getting further out with the idea, though: It's lines shiny is, fubckin' oURPLE!! Purple cat for the ourple boy, thank you,, (and how shiny!Meowscarada has a purple cuff and an invisible "leash" [its flower bud] around its neck is vaguely similar to the purple chain of the Loyal three...okay I'm really reaching now but still. teehee... ). Hey, anyone notice how purple is a complementary color for yellow, which happens to be Kieran's eye and main acccesory (headband / bag) color and -- I'm going anywhere with this, I just think its neat 👍
•Honestly just replace his current cat (Incineroar) with Meowscarada - Incineroar suits Carmine a lot better imo...which is why it's my theory it's on his final team, but that's. Also a different post I'll probably never make :^)
•Like, I get why they wouldn't have given Kieran a Paldaen starter for his team (for a variety of reasons, honestly), but,, Think about it •Sprigatito using its kneading on Kieran's (fluffy, sowwy ponytail!Kieran fans) hair for impromptu aromatherapy would probably be good for this kids anxiety tbh
*IMAGINE Kieran picking up mask-making in Hassel's art class - IMAGINE the positive energy and outlet art (not battling) and a professor like Hassel would provide this kid!!
TL;DR: DLC where Kieran transfers to Naranja / Uva Academy when GameFreak.

Hello, hello! Lots of good stuff to post about as we begin our winter studies, so let's get to it in a nice and sunny...
🌴Clive Update!🌴
Now, I know what you're probably thinking. I'm a bit Psychic-type like that. "Clive, palm trees are so two seasons ago (or two seasons from now)!"
But what if I told you...
You could travel somewhere with living palm trees?!
I know. Mind = Blown. Today, I'm talking a bit about our school's exchange opportunities! Some of you might have already experienced them, but never too late to give a shout-out!
First up:
👹Kitakami!👹
This program is our school's very own, experiential learning-based, culture exchange program with the Land of Kitakami! Nestled roughly between the more well-known regions of Kanto to the south and Almia/Sinnoh to the north, Kitakami is a quiet place with an incredibly rich history--and according to the souvenirs students have sent back, incredibly delish sweets!
Stay with the locals as you explore regional great sights, make new Poképals (now approved to stay over in Paldea, after some very long negotiations), and maybe even enjoy some seasonal festivities and learn about Kitakami religion and culture in the process! If you're interested, send an "app" to the Study Abroad Office. (Your scholarships carry over, yo!)
Next, an exchange I'm quite excited to announce:
🫐Blueberry Academy!🫐
Travel all the way to offshore Unova (I've "forgor" where exactly off the coast) to experience battling like you'll never believe it! While we here at Naranja-Uva encourage a balance of classroom and experiential learning, Blueberry Academy's "DIY" approach is perfect for those looking for classes all about catching, training, and battling with the "perf" partners! (Don't worry, there's other classes, so you'll still get your credits--they're just extra hands-on too!)
Other bonuses if you're still feeling a bit "blue" about leaving us behind for a semester: Blueberry Academy has quite the "kickass" lineup of clubs, complete with its own league, the most widely varied biomes you could imagine within an undersea dome, and really good pizza. If you can finish the servings over there, anyways! Again, come talk to the Study Abroad Office if you've got a craving... for adventure!

Hello! Might I know more about your occupation? What does Pokemon biology entail? What kinds of accessibility projects do you have?
Oh! Do tell more about the accessibility.
~Zelda & Mipha [@prayers-to-hyliarceus]
Hello! I am so sorry about not getting back to you sooner; I've been quite busy lately. I would be delighted to talk about this!
Pokemon biology is the study of Pokemon and how they live and grow. I learn about their anatomy, their genetics, and the science behind their typings and abilities. A lot of this goes into my study on Pokemon care, so I also do a lot of research into their environmental and nutritional needs as well into caring for them! For this, I've actually had a lot of training as a Pokemon center nurse prior to becoming a professor.
I also study Pokemon ecology, which goes into the role a species of Pokemon plays in their natural environment's ecosystem. This helps me understand the Pokemon further in why they have the needs, instincts and behaviors that they do.
All of this information I study goes into finding the best methods to care for Pokemon as well as maintaining or (preferably) improving their quality of life, while giving a reasonable amount of energy that the trainer can manage. This helps people in disadvantaged situations such as changes in living accommodations, changes in schedules, or if they are disabled.
As for the accessibility projects I have going on at the moment: right now I am raising three species of Pokemon that are used as Paldea's standard "starter pokemon", given to students at Naranja-Uva academy. They're considerably easy to raise, albeit on the high energy side, plus they can get to a decently large size once they're fully evolved. So I'm collecting data from my own experiences to find better ways for students to care for these Pokemon - especially those living in the dormitory rooms.
This will also be helpful for students who may have mobility issues or fatigue issues that may make it harder to keep up with these Pokemon. There's already many outlets in place for this at the academy, but there's always room for improvement!
So far I have some sketches for floor plan adjustments, and some exercise toy blueprints, to name a couple things.
While this isn't related to Pokemon care itself, some point I will start working with the league to come up with a personalized transportation system in the city of Mesagoza, as it may possibly be the least accessible city in the region right now, in how it's been laid out.
If you have any other questions about accessibility and Pokemon care I would be more than happy to answer them!

Hello rotomblr.
I'm Evian, a university student at Naranja/Uva/Blueberry Academy. Any pronouns for me are fine.
I am what people would call a "chosen" — my patron legendary is Eternatus. Yes, the one blamed for Galar's darkest days.
Rest assured I have no intent on destroying anything or whatever. I and my... patron just wish to live quietly. Evil teams who wish to "recruit" me for their.. purposes are not welcome. Please leave and rethink your actions.
Pelipper and Musharna Mail are on, Magic Anons are off.
◇
I have one pokemon, a Hatterne named Astella. She was gifted to me by a close friend and she is my most trusted companion. Without her a lot of my daily tasks would be much harder to achieve

Hi again! It's Necro with another pokemon irl blog :) - this time we have the "chosen" of Eternatus! Though... something makes me think that they're not human at all... Probably just me though.
(The gimmick here is Evian is their world's Eternatus, but they are hiding that fact and claiming they are the chosen. That is a lie so they aren't bothered by people. NOBODY IN CHARACTER KNOWS THIS EXCEPT FOR ASTER)
I also run @4ster-bl4ster , so check out my other blog!! These two will interact occasionally :)

General tidbits:
No NSFW with this account, but suggestive is fine. Evian might not get the jokes though
I literally made this blog to be silly and have fun, so please don't take things too seriously :')
If things don't fit 100% with people's canon it's fine, like I don't mind working with ppl. Again, this is just me making a blog for my pokemon oc for the sake of havin fun.
Here's a bit about myself:
Name is Necro/Nec
Main blog is @the-necrobotanist [follows and likes are from @wyrmoffthestr1ng though]
Pronouns are He/They
20 y/o, Illustration major in college
LGBTQIA+ (I'm trans/nonbinary!)
I mainly dabble in Wizardblr lol
Pokémon is my hyperfixation, and I am an avid shiny hunter :)
Chronically ill, and I have a lotta anxiety so I often will explain things in tags if I'm worried abt something.
If you want more just like, go to my main or smthn.
I can't think of anything else to add to this part right now, so I'll add things here as needed.
Btw no TERFS, Zi*nists, or your like. I will block you on sight. Get out

heyy, you’re friends with that chef dude, right?
tbh I’m just curious about blueberry academy and used that as a way to not feel awkward asking lol. What’s it like there?
@arven-sada-turo
Yeah, Crispin's my pal. They're great.
And feel free to ask whatever about BB! It's pretty cool here. You're Paldean, right? We've had a few exchange students from Naran-uva, and it seems like a nice school.

Intro!!
Hello! My name is Jamie (any Pronouns)! I'm 17 years old and I'm a student and Pokémon trainer living in Paldea. I'm originally from Artazon, but my family moved out to Medali a few years ago, and I currently live in the dorms of Naranja-Uva Academy. My team is still pretty small, and definitely going to expand, but for now it's just:
Floragato (Lloyd), my incredibly moody Starter Pokémon
Impidimp (Grim), he's a little shit, but i love him regardless
Corvisquire (Nix), a very smart, and very kind birb
As for me, I am but a humble student, Pokémon trainer, and Naranja-Uva Academy Battle Club member. My interests include Pokémon battling (though I'm admittedly not very good at it), cooking, and writing! I'm currently in my second year of academy life, and participating in this years treasure hunt that started a few days ago! My current goal is to beat all eight gyms and become a champion. I look up to champion Nemona (our current student council president, president of the battle club, and one of the youngest paldean champions in history) quite a lot, and she encouraged me to take the gym challenge on, so, here I am! I haven't beaten anybody yet, but I'll get there soon!
Pelipper Mail is On!
(( ooc info below ))
Heyo! I'm Marcel (Any Pronouns). I made this account maybe like a year ago?? I don't even remember. Regardless, I recently got the sudden urge to start pokeblogging again, so here I am! I didn't really enjoy what I already set up for this muse before, so I just decided to start from scratch and see what happens. This'll mostly be a mundane trainer account, following Jamie's gym challenge, since I am NOT experienced enough in rp to jump into high stakes shit.
Now, my muse and I are minors so any NSFW stuff directed at me or them won't be tolerated. But I am okay with interacting with minors and adults, as long as they are alright with it, and they're not like a weirdo or sumn, duh.
So yeah, if you have any questions, in or out of character, feel free to ask! Goodbye for now!

I've been taking classes at Uva Academy for a little while now, but recently I got a really neat offer to take part in an exchange student program in Unova! Not gonna lie I'm still questioning why they vouched for me considering I'm not even a full time student... (not gonna complain though cause this might actually be good for my research fjdhgj)
Anyway, I thought it'd be fun to take some selfies with my team while we're here! So here's a few from our first day at Blueberry Academy~ yes I am fully aware that I have exactly two expressions in these and they're both "look how much I love them" HGJFHSHF
(also, am I the only one who thinks the architecture looks a little like LaRousse City in Hoenn...???)
#((ooc: this is exclusively to show off that I FINALLY got my whole team in SV!#i am so frickin' stoked about this#it took forever because I'm not paying premium for HOME compatibility with 3DS games#so I had to catch everyone the old fashioned way (accounting for correct natures too!)#but we're here!! we did it babeyyy!!!))#Ivori#Bisharp#Hawlucha#Beetlejuice#Gengar#Phantump#Politoed#Bijou#Sableye#sv spoilers
